Sometimes you need to pause and look back at where you started, just to see how far you’ve come. We’re celebrating 8 years of Bound this week, and honestly, it’s been an eventful journey. We’ve worked with writers and non-writers, experts and brands, to develop their ideas into books and bring them into the world. Along the way, we’ve also been building creative education in India through the academy, teaching a generation that won’t just work in the creative industry, but shape it. We’ve tried things, changed things, figured stuff out as we went. And through it all, this community has been right there with us and we’re so grateful for that. This week, we're going to take stock of all the things Bound does, and the impact it has had. Stay tuned as we share more from our journey over the next few days!

It’s the little moments like these that remind us why we do what we do. When we received this message from our client, it truly made our day — not just because our manuscript evaluation helped him refine his work, but also because he completely understood and appreciated the reasoning behind our suggestions. Here’s to many more stories finding their best form!

The books we now call “vintage” with their yellowing pages, cracked spines, and familiar smell once changed reading culture forever. These pocket books made stories affordable, accessible, and easy to carry everywhere. They may no longer sit in the front rows of bookstores, but chances are there’s still one tucked away somewhere in your collection, carrying a memory you haven’t forgotten. Do you remember the first pocket book you owned? Tell us in the comments!

Everyone’s talking about how tough the job market is right now. But sometimes it helps to step back and look at what recruiters are actually looking for and how you can stand out. So here’s our two cents:)

So happy to see Books and Beyond featured in “Top 5 Book Podcasters in India You Should Be Listening To in 2026” by Ghostwriters India. What started as an author interview podcast by @tarakhandelwal489 and @michellewdcosta to spotlight some of the best writers in India and understand their creative process has grown into one of India’s No.1 book podcasts. It still feels a little surreal for us. When we began in 2020, the idea was simple. To get to know an author beyond their book and understand how they think, write, and shape their stories. That’s what Books and Beyond continues to explore. With 4M+ listens across 9 seasons, we’ve had the chance to feature incredible authors like Alka Joshi, Ankur Warikoo, Daisy Rockwell, Volga, Amitav Ghosh, Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni, S. Hussain Zaidi and many more. Recognitions like this keep us going, and we’ll continue delivering for our listeners. You can find us on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Comment ‘Link’ to read the full listicle.
