That time we suspended over 1,000 calla lilies in the air overlooking the ocean at L’Auberge in Del Mar for Sarena and Erik’s engagement party.
Sarena and I wanted a memorable floral focal point for the event that would complement but not compete with the view.
The movement of the calla lilies felt both modern and artistic - minimal mechanics allowed the sculptural shape of the callas to shine.
This installation was a true labor of love with yards and yards of fishing line, the most beautiful calla lilies ever, and a dedicated, inspired crew who pushes boundaries and brings botanical installations to life!
I am beyond honored and proud to work alongside this team. We like to kick it up a notch every season. Many of these designers have worked with Botanicamuse over several seasons. It makes the completion of these events all the sweeter knowing we’ve done many projects together year-over-year.
