There is an ever-growing list of museums where I’ve gotten yelled at for almost touching the art. On Jan 31 2026, I personally invited people to touch the art - and be moved by it.
I’ve developed an intricate collage practice since the pandemic hit. I enjoy that the creation of collage is both in the eye of the beholder, and somewhat at the mercy of the material. I’ve been exploding with joy, gratitude and creativity as I not just made the art, but also brought an empty gallery space to life with the curation, design and interactive spaces. My Ensemble Cast is alive and thriving. I can’t wait for more of you to come feel with me ❤️

3. I say some things in my art that an algorithm would censor but most humans would be prompted to think, feel, process… be HUMAN.
4. Art is a whole body very human journey, and my incredible friends @preachers_daughter__ and @palsmania will be crafting tunes that are in conversation with the art (and each other!)

Ian is inspired by the trash and everyday materials that surround us, from “post no bills” walls to cardboard boxes, finding a rhythm in the textures and surfaces of the city. What began as a challenge to push his art form has become a personal journal of the past year, cataloging where each piece of trash was found and why it caught his eye.
