We're excited to announce that our History Center's new exhibits are coming!
Starting Monday, May 4th, our Bossier Parish Libraries History Center will be closed for construction. We anticipate reopening by July 1st.
During this time, all normal programs will continue at our Central Library. During the closure, staff will not be able to assist with archival research. If you need other assistance, please contact staff by email ([email protected]) or phone (318-746-7717).
This week is National Library Week, and we want to encourage you to discover your library joy! Here's some good ways to celebrate:
📚Stop by your library and bring someone with you.
📖Help a friend sign up for a library card. It’s one small step that opens up endless possibilities.
😃Explore something new: a book, a program, a class, or a conversation. From storytimes to makerspaces, author talks to job support, libraries are places where curiosity and connection come to life.
Celebrate Spring Break by visiting the library for a special storytime at the following branches:
East 80 Branch - Wednesday, March 11th @ 11 AM
Tooke Branch (Elm Grove) - Thursday, March 12th @ 1 PM
Benton Branch - Friday, March 13th @ 10 AM
