Set in the former charcoal burners’ house in the mountains of Val Bregaglia, the exhibition transforms this historic site into a post-apocalyptic power station of images, memory, and imagination. Curated by Nicolò Krättli, the show presents the latest chapter of Park Volny by the CickinDunt art group.

PLANNING TO SAVE THE WORLD WITH PUNCHLINES. MEANWHILE TRANSLATING POLITICAL EXPERIMENTS INTO POETIC URGENCIES. UNNECESSARY CREATIONS AND COMPLEX DETOURS LEAD TO INCOMPREHENSIVE DEFINITIONS. MOST OF IT IS MOSTLY LEADING TO PUBLIC EVENTS OF ALL KIND. ALL WILL BE JUSTIFIED.
THEY ARE RUNNING AN ATYPICAL CAMPAIGN AGENCY. THEY WALK AROUND AS ARTISTS BUT IN REALITY THEY PRACTICE POLITICS. THEY HAVEN’T GOT ANY CLIENTS, YET. THEY OFTEN DISCUSS AND CREATE WHATEVER THEY WOULD LIKE TO BE. THE ENTIRE PACKAGE IS WEIRD.
SPINNING AROUND UNEXPECTED QUESTIONS, SHOWING OFF THEIR ATTITUDE, PRODUCING SCALE MODELS, HELPING SOCIETY, OFFERING THEIR ACTIONS TO THE WORLD.
AS PROFESSIONAL AMATEURS THEY ARE SKILLED IN UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOUR, READY AT ALL TIMES TO DO WHATEVER. COLLECTING FAILURES FOR THEIR FAILURE COLLECTION TO STICK ON THEIR GIANT FRIDGE. WHILE THE PROFESSIONAL LIVES, THE AMATEUR WORKS. WHILE THE PROFESSIONAL RULES, THE AMATEUR CHILLS. WHILE THE FRIDGE RUNS, THE VEGETABLES FREEZE. SOMETIMES PERFORMING THEMSELVES, SOMETIMES WATCHING OTHERS.
THEY PAY THE BILLS BY INFILTRATING THE ART SUPERMARKET. CONVERTING STUFF INTO ARTWORKS. THEY TRICK THEM, THEY LIKE IT. THEY HIJACK ON DEMAND, INJECTING THE BENEFITS INTO THE REAL. ORDERING TAKEOUT TO TAKE OUT THE WEALTH, OPENING SHOPS IN THE MENTAL SUBURBS OF DEEP SPACE. TURBULENCE POWERS HUMANITY, SO TAKE A MAP OF THE WORLD AND BURN IT.
