Incredibly excited and proud that a film I edited last year is having its premiere at the 25th @tribeca in New York City, baby!!
Was a huge pleasure working on this insane and awesome movie with the brilliant @smamshold and the great people at @collingwoodfilmco and I can’t wait for people to see it.
Extra special for me because the film features my friend and collaborator the legendary @julian_richings as well as cool music from my friends in @aceofwandsband

Forgot to post about it, but last month I finished my 6th Olympic Games working as an editor for CBC!
22 days straight! Always a marathon, but a tradition I really enjoy doing. Had a lot of fun editing material for the great Isabelle Weidemann, Piper & Paul and Captain Poulin’s incredible Women’s Hockey team.
Then I spent a couple of days sleeping as much as my 4 year old would allow me.

This is 43!
Spent the past few days getting spoiled by my two best girls, eating elaborate breakfasts, seeing an incredible film in the theatre and saying goodbye to a very important bar from my youth.
The past couple of years have been frustrating in many ways, and I’ve felt like I’m constantly playing catch-up and chasing something that’s always JUST out of reach…so I was a bit melancholy leading up to my birthday…but it’s nice to remember that I have a very good life and I’m a very lucky guy ♥️
Big things coming this year! Or maybe more hopeless striving, but EITHER WAY we’re doing it!

Very grateful to this show that I’ve been editing for in some capacity for over a decade now. It’s kept a roof over my head and given me a sense of security and consistency during a period of my life that has seen many unpredictable shakeups and some extreme highs and lows.
I’m proud of the work we do and I love working with this team. One of the best professional environments I’ve ever experienced.
I’m pretty cynical about reality tv, but I think this show genuinely helps people and plays fair in a way many do not. There’s a reason it’s lasted this long. 20 seasons is crazy!

MY TINY LITTLE BABY STARTED KINDERGARTEN TODAY!!!
After a summer of mini-graduations, explorations and general superhero-ing, Ivy has officially started school. She’s the funniest, sweetest, greatest kid and I’m unbelievably proud of her.
She was a little nervous and overwhelmed upon arrival, but she decided to be brave and went in all by herself.
Her verdict at the end of the day: ‘it was all pretty easy’
Incredibly excited for this new chapter in her life. It makes me embarrassingly mushy.
