The rumors were true. The Boring Festival Aftermovie has arrived 🤩 We’re still buzzing even after all this time from this incredible weekend. Huge thanks to the 50+ artists for their amazing performances and to YOU for experiencing two days of the extraordinary with us. Safety at Boring We believe art, culture and nightlife are inherent parts of human existence. We need places to express, explore and experiment. Safety while doing this is essential. At Boring Festival we are making an effort to create safer places. This is an ongoing effort and one of constant learning, because this means something different for each individual. For now we have created a set of principles that we believe is the bare minimum we have to expect from ourselves, our artists and our visitors. No Racism No Sexism No Ableism No Transphobia No Fatphobia No Homophobia Also: consent is key. Your body is yours and nobody is allowed to touch it without your permission. Victims of any unwanted behavior will be helped by our staff. You can recognize them in their blue Boring overall. People who show unwanted behavior will always be removed from our festival. Also there is a safety number during our festival that you can call or text. It’s smart to put this in your phone beforehand (0623134941). Thank you for reading. Dit was Boring Festival 2026 in de PHIL! 🧡 Héél Haarlem stond op zijn kop door de heerlijke BORING vibes... Zo barstte het ook in de PHIL van de excentrieke performances, intieme storytelling en bold energy. Okay, just a few more pictures then, because we just can’t get enough of it. Trying to bring the extraordinary into all of the unexpected places we’re partnering with this year was an incredible challenge, but the results speak for themselves. Just look at these images. RELNACHT turning Patronaat into the best form of absolute party chaos, XTC the electronic musical turning Schuur’s theatre hall into a club where a musical takes place. And how can we forget JELLE opening PHIL with his incredible sound. We’re already a bit sad and miss all of it already, but we have something to look forward to as well. Our next edition! Het buitengewone naar al die onverwachte plekken brengen waarmee we dit jaar samenwerken was een ongelooflijke uitdaging, maar de resultaten spreken voor zich. Kijk maar naar deze beelden. En hoe kunnen we JELLE vergeten die PHIL opende met zijn ongelooflijke sound. We zijn nu al een beetje verdrietig en missen het allemaal alweer, maar we hebben ook iets om naar uit te kijken. We don’t want to but we really have to say it: this was Boring Festival 2026. Breaking open the doors of Haarlem’s cultural institutions is what we do and this year we’ve filled these unexpected locations with incredible artists. We’ve turned Schuur’s theater hall into a live music venue with incredible energy. The Noord-Holland Archive turned into a pole, drag en hypnotic head massage stage with incredible atmosphere. And how can we forget about the incredible performances in Frans Hals museum. The Vleeshal exhibition space turned into an incredible stage and the Verwey Hal made place for a performance about the desire of having a dick. If we have to describe this weekend in one word: extraordinary. 🧡 What were some of your favourite memories of this weekend? NL We willen het niet zeggen, maar we moeten het echt toegeven: dit was Boring Festival 2026. De deuren van Haarlemse culturele instellingen openbreken is wat we doen en dit jaar hebben we deze onverwachte locaties gevuld met ongelooflijke artiesten. We hebben de theaterzaal van Schuur omgetoverd tot een live muziekpodium met ongelooflijke energie. Het Noord-Hollands Archief veranderde in een pole-, drag- en hypnotische hoofdmassage podium met een ongelooflijke sfeer. En hoe kunnen we de fantastische voorstellingen in het Frans Hals Museum vergeten? De tentoonstellingsruimte van de Vleeshal werden een ongelooflijk podium en de Verwey Hal maakte plaats voor een performance over het verlangen naar een lul.
