Roads were blocked leading to the Capitol, people threw maggots and insects into his hotel, as well as make noise and set off fire alarms. With heavy police presence we marched, confronted police, got maced but we continued and raised the Palestinian flag everywhere. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We did what we could, and all I hope is that as you see our demonstrations in the US as well as across the world, you feel that people are fighting for you and we’re not giving up on you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

For years my mom picked up on hobbies, just like me, and most of the time they would fizzle out. She’s made custom shirts, sold food & snacks, our neighborhood knew us as the apartment that had the sweets. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It all fizzled out, but not this. For about a year now, she has kept making soaps, candles, creams and hasn’t stopped since. Even has her own YouTube channel. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I remember thinking at first how this wouldn’t last long, but it’s lasted more than anything she’s ever done, and she’s gotten really good at it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
