Less than a week old and already sprinting around like she’s been here for months. Highland cattle are known for easy, low intervention births and calves that get on their feet fast. These animals were bred for rough terrain and brutal weather long before modern farming equipment ever existed.
Honestly the coolest part though has been watching the mother. She hasn’t let this calf out of her sight for more than a few seconds at a time. Constantly checking on her, guiding her around, keeping her close.
Pretty good reminder none of us would be anywhere without our mothers.

We’re not outsourcing your brand.
We’re building it.
Everything you see here was shot, directed, and produced in-house by our team at Mediawrk.
No middlemen. No waiting on third parties. No watered-down vision.

cut it
and actually make it hit
This is Borghi Farm — real work, real footage, real storytelling.
If you’re serious about content that moves the needle, this is how it gets done.
Another Sunday on the farm. Big spring clean—ripped out all the old bedding and manure, spread fresh pine shavings, got them fed and watered. Simple work but it matters.
Check out the YouTube for more.
Sam’s out here “running the saw,” Richie’s giving directions like he’s done this before… and somehow nothing looks like it should 😂
Truth is we’re figuring it out as we go. Half the time we’ve got no clue what we’re doing, but we show up, get it done, and keep it moving. That’s kinda the whole Borghi Farm theme right now.
If you’ve been following along, you already know… if not, now’s a good time to start.
Longer form content dropping soon. Stay tuned.
This isn’t some picture perfect farm setup.
We’re on raw land up in the mountains that was never farmland. No water, all rock, nothing easy about it. So every day we’re hauling water in, filling buckets, breaking ice, and making sure the cows are taken care of.
You’ll see me out there petting them and topping off water like it’s simple… but it’s not. It’s just getting done no matter what.
We’ve been doing this all winter. Cold, snow, frozen ground… same routine.
That’s what building something from nothing actually looks like.
If you want to follow a real farm getting built the hard way, stick with us.
Another episode at Borghi Farm. We just picked up some ducks and the animals are loving this stretch of nice weather. The goats are doing great, running around and getting bigger by the day, and the whole place is starting to really come alive as the seasons change. Days like this remind us why we started the farm in the first place.
There’s a lot more happening behind the scenes and we’ve been filming it all. A full length YouTube video is dropping soon showing everything going on around the farm and the progress we’re making.
If you enjoy following along with the journey, share this post, drop a comment, and make sure you support Borghi Farm. Plenty more coming soon. 🐄🦆
Fresh pine shavings going down in the pens for the goats and the Highlands. Clean, dry ground matters, especially this time of year. Simple, natural, effective.
Water setup is still rudimentary. We’re running an IBC tote system for now, but we made it more efficient so everyone’s got steady access without wasting time or water. Build it right, improve it as we go.
Behind the scenes dropping next week. YouTube content coming soon.
Private farm tours are live. Calendly link in bio. Come meet the Highlands and goats up close.
