This project is a design exercise developed for the Logo Design course during the second year of the Visual Communication Bachelor’s degree at SUPSI (Mendrisio). The challenge was to create a complete visual identity for Knot, a sustainable tailoring brand founded by two young designers.
Knot bridges the gap between sartorial heritage and modern innovation. The project explores how minimalist shapes and a natural color palette can communicate authenticity, quality, and a conscious approach to fashion.

For this project, I wanted to capture a raw, nocturnal atmosphere. The use of gritty textures, torn paper effects, and high-contrast imagery reflects the urban soul of the music. It’s about that tension between the shadows and the light.

The goal of the workshop is to represent zero as both absence and origin.
Mathematically: It indicates the number of elements in an empty set, denoted as ∅.
Visually & Culturally: Participants explored zero as a phenomenon—a number, a symbol, a system, and an idea that defines absence.
