Get ready for a night of sonic psychedelic shoegaze post rock from Punchlove (USA) and Nottingham’s own Bored Marsh
Punchlove are a Brooklyn-based band, dedicated to pushing the envelope of sonic practices. For the five multi-instrumentalists and audio engineers, moving into a maze of a house together in Brooklyn was the transition that created the album they had been writing their whole lives. Melding DIY recording and experimental sonic vision with studio quality, their debut album “Channels” is a layered bed of adventurous, pain-pop songs that coalesce around a digitally-stimulated, emotionally serrated brand of modern shoegaze.
Bored Marsh are recognised as one of the brightest hopes coming out of Nottingham right now. An alternative rock 4-piece, their name references a now derelict shopping centre and lack of progress in their hometown through government funding cuts and austerity. The band are now starting to get more attention further afield. Formed via lockdown demo-sharing, their reverb-soaked dynamic sound combines soaring melodic vocal and guitar harmonies with darker, heavier sections.

Absolutely delighted to announce that we’ve added to our bill the undeniable local heroes @boredmarsh
Those of you that know me and a few others down the games know that their Idiot EP got rinsed on matchday sets and their most recent vinyl release has followed on in much the same suit. Adding the band also means the night has one hell of a lineup, and one I personally am buzzing for - both Pretty Windows & Rain Age are friends first and foremost, and have a bloody great sound add into that our very own vinyl DJs from our monthly music nights and we appear to have built a stormer of an early summer evening!
Feeling extremely grateful the lads said yes to supporting our first ever music night away from the club, along with other bands and DJs, to raise vital funds for our ground redevelopment project and we’re sure the remaining tickets will become hot property.
