Step inside @borealis_studios during Vermont Crafts Council Open Studio Weekend this May.
Located in the heart of Greensboro Village in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, this welcoming studio is the creative home of ceramic artist Jerilyn Virden and glassblower Devin Burgess. Together, they create beautifully crafted objects for everyday living—handbuilt earthenware pottery and elegant handblown glass.
Visitors will find shelves filled with thoughtfully designed bowls, vessels, and sculptural ceramics alongside luminous glass forms shaped by flame and breath. The studio itself is both workspace and gallery—offering a chance to see where the work is made and meet the artists behind it.

Hi! My name is Finn Burgess. I’m raising money to attend a service trip to Ghana, Africa with my school, St. Johnsbury Academy. We will be going to help the Ayi-Owen School in Techiman for 17 days in February of 2026. While we are there, each SJA student teaches a lesson to the children that they can benefit from after we leave. I will be conducting art lessons. In addition to teaching, we will be bringing much-needed supplies to the school. The funds will go to the cost of all flights, ground transportation, drivers, activities, lodging, and food during our stay. This is an amazing opportunity that I would really love to experience, and I would greatly appreciate any financial support!
