Sign for Vânju Mare, a small town located in Mehedinți County, Romania. Like many signs in the southern part of the country, it borrows the monumentality of the endless column by Brâncuși while also emphasising local businesses such as vineyards , beekeeping and new industries.

4 of the 5 signs and one artwork which exist on the borders of the city of Medgidia. The region has a rich history. It was part of the Roman Empire and the Ottoman Empire before being a part of Romania after the Russo-Turkish war between 1877 and 1878. During the Communist era, the city became an inland port to the Danube-Black Sea Canal. The Danube-Black Sea Canal crosses the town for about 6 km of its length.
