Bo’s city MTB / low-key BMX rig. 🤤
Coming from a BMX background,
@borawgers built up this vintage Trek Singletrack 930 using a mix of BMX parts and the beefiest stuff he could find on QBP. He rips it and says he actually prefers the geometry over a true 26” BMX.
Some highlights:
• Advent X 1x9 drivetrain
• Integrated dropper with under-saddle lever to keep the cockpit clean
•
@surlybikes Troll fork
• Deore v brakes
•
@animalbikes stem
•
@verdebmxco MX bars (off a Fairdale Taj)
It’s equal parts shredder and zippy commuter.
He’s been helping out part-time since moving back home from out west, where he was a sales rep for
@animalbikes . He’s a total sweetheart and we’re stoked to have him around.
He’s also looking for a job as a baker if you know someone who’s hiring. Stop in and say hi!
Needless to say these rebuilt old MTBs are well beyond just a “trend.” They’re incredibly durable, surprisingly capable and can be made super comfortable for everyday use. Built right they’ll last for years. They’re easily one of our favorite types of all-rounders and we usually have a few around 👀
