GROUNDSWELL EP by @x_altera is OUT NOW.
Link in bio.
Emerging with a distinct amalgam of drum and bass, Detroit techno, and UK hardcore—exemplified in releases on Sneaker Social Club and Ghostly International—X-Altera expands further into d&b territory for Groundswell EP. The appearance of a familiar breakbeat on “Run” harkens back to the merciless drum patterns he sequenced as SK-1 with Soundmurderer for their cult jungle label, Rewind! Records. The brisk tenor of “Groundswell” and the sinister “Eye Saw It” fortify the EP with sharp futurism. Closing out, “Citybound TV” sets adrift on a heavy dose of downtempo sampledelia.

OUT NOW *link in bio*: The fifth full-length album from JTC, alias of Tadd Mullinix, "Intra.Actae" amplifies the essence of JTC's prior acid explorations and takes it from irreverent leftfield techno to mutated hardcore experimentalism with grit and musicality that emanates from the ghosts of braindance.
Actively producing and performing since the mid-90s, Mullinix was one of the first signed to Ghostly International. From the top of his career, he's released under a variety of monikers that are noted for the authenticity and innovations of their different respective styles. He is most widely known for his revolutionary beat productions as Dabrye, collaborating with Hip Hop luminaries including J Dilla, DOOM, and Ghostface Killah.
