Startup Update: Seeing 13 barbershops listed on the platform is a breakthrough. We’re testing a new offensive onboarding and targeting strategy this season — continuously building out the supply side of our double-sided marketplace. The barbershop directory is the foundation of our product right now: supply first, demand will follow.
Soon barbers everywhere will know what they have access to in terms of locations & opportunity. My vision is for barbers and shop owners to go harder. Open more doors. Dream bigger. I envision a barber in Chicago being able to travel to Los Angeles and continue their craft on a temporary basis, growing their clientele and personal brand at the same time. All enabled through the infrastructure BOOTH is building.
We’re creating a new category in barbershop technology: booth rental discovery and management. The platforms barbers use today handle appointments — none of them solve the booth rental side. That’s the gap & that’s our value.
