A decade ago i was asked by our PR team which title I would most like @barrysuk to be featured in. My number one wish was @theststyle - so it’s a huge privilege to be featured in today’s edition to celebrate ten years of @barrys in London. Thank you @phoebejmcd for writing such a fun piece on us and @freddie_johnson1 for making it happen and to our team for being the best in the business 🙏

Wow. I cannot believe it’s 5 years today since we opened @barrysuk SW1. This was the last one our mum saw us open so it’s a bit bittersweet if I’m honest with you. A big thanks to everyone who’s been through those doors, it’s a very special studio!

Very rarely can a brand claim to have genuinely changed the game in their particular industry - which makes me incredibly proud to be a part of @barrys The pioneer @barryscares ripped up the rulebook back in october 24 years ago and i like to think we played our part in doing something similar here @barrysuk ten years ago… But now it’s time to get my ass to class - i’m committed to doing 24 classes this month, i’ll stick my schedule up on stories if you wanna come do any with me 💪

“Barrys was my first ever gym experience. Six years down, I can’t believe I’ve just completed 1600 classes. I still vaguely remember my first, I could barely hold a speed of 5mph and to know that today I can consistently run and sprint at 13mph is beyond unbelievable. “In these 6 years, I’ve been able to see how my physical ability and appearance has changed but also how helpful Barry’s has been through times when I’ve felt at my absolute lowest. I’ve met some amazing people on the way that I can fortunately call friends.” Then there was a bunch of stuff about her amazing instructor but there wasn’t space for that and anyway 1600 classes wowee just think about that for a sec… @mehveens that is next level!
