We’ve obtained an independent report—the kind of document that usually stays buried in a locked drawer—and it paints a devastating picture of how the Farmer Support Company (FSC) has been operating. If you’re looking for the definition of “corporate paralysis,” this is it.
This isn’t just about bad bookkeeping, This is about a systemic failure of leadership that’s left the very people it was meant to protect out in the cold. Here is the BOOM Special Report
The FSC is, for all intents and purposes, a shell. It’s insolvent. It produces no income and survives solely on government life support to cover salaries and administrative costs. While the world moved on, the FSC stayed stuck in 2018—the last time they actually bothered to complete a financial audit.
The QuickBooks Excuse: In perhaps the most “the dog ate my homework” moment of the report, officials claim they can’t access their own financial data because the accounting system is “non-functional.”
The “Love Box” Diversion: While farmers were looking for actual support, the FSC was busy footing a $638,487 bill for the “Love Box Initiative”—an activity the report explicitly states was completely outside the company’s professional remit. That is nearly two-thirds of a million dollars diverted from its core mission.
The Loan Desert: The company hasn’t issued a single loan since 2021. Why? Because the money is gone. And of the loans they did issue previously, a staggering 75% were never repaid.
When an organization meant to be the engine room of the agricultural sector stops lending money and starts “drifting,” what’s left? Apparently, laminating machines. The FSC’s primary function has devolved into simply issuing farmer ID cards.
Board members have gone on the record expressing deep frustration over “high levels of political interference.” It’s hard to run a tight ship when someone else is constantly grabbing the wheel for political points rather than practical results.
