An unexpected encounter with a gentle creature of the woodsā¦ a porcupine. It was only 3 ft away when I decided I should probably say something so it doesnāt try to climb on me.
Because of their quills, porcupines have very few predators and are far less wary than other animals. They are also among the cutest critters in the woods in my book. I was grateful this one shared part of itās day with me. š
