Skyline Reverie has been shortlisted in the Colour category for this year’s IDEA Awards (Interior Design Excellence Awards) – a celebration of materiality, emotion, and the expressive use of natural tone and contrast.
From richly veined marble to garden greenery and soft timber curves, every hue was chosen to anchor a sense of calm above the city skyline.

Where materiality and craftsmanship take the lead, even a stark apartment can be completely reimagined without a single structural change.
High above Sydney’s skyline, this once impersonal penthouse has been transformed into a character-filled sanctuary that balances luxury with personality. Its elevated position inspired a design that plays between intimacy and openness, maintaining a constant connection to the city beyond.
For clients who split their time between the city and the country, the brief was clear: a home that felt warm, liveable, and quietly luxurious. Our response? Soft curves, richly textured finishes, and a sculptural microcement staircase that now anchors the space.
From hand-finished bronze accents to bespoke joinery, every element was chosen to reflect a connection to place, the people who call it home, and a deep appreciation of artistry.
The clients' personal involvement in curating art and furnishings added the final layer of soul, ensuring the home feels not just designed - but truly lived in.
