Coming up on Sunday 5/17 at 4 pm, the Lehigh Valley Speculative Fiction Book Club explores "Water Moon" by Samantha Sotto Yambao. Free!
"Water Moon" follows Hana Ishikawa, who inherits a magical pawnshop in Tokyo that trades in people's regrets and life choices. When her father disappears and a crucial item is stolen, she teams up with a physicist to journey through a mystical world to find him, encountering magical elements like flying paper cranes and portals in puddles.
An in-person monthly book club for the Lehigh Valley, it discusses new and old books of magical realism, science fiction, weird fiction, fantasy, and other speculative genres of fiction.
