I was unhappy with the person I saw in the mirror, and I knew I had two choices: stay the same or completely change my life. I chose to change — and now my biggest goal is to inspire others to realize they can do it too. If sharing my experience, mistakes, lessons, and knowledge can help even one person better themselves physically or mentally, then every struggle along the way was worth it. 3 years ago I walked into the gym at 180 lbs with no real plan, very little knowledge, and no idea how much this journey would change my life. In 2024 I cut down to 160 and learned discipline. In 2025 I committed fully and pushed through a bulk to 235 lbs. Then over the last 8 months, I lost 100 pounds and stepped on stage at 135 lbs for my first bodybuilding show. Looking back, I’m honestly just grateful. Grateful for the lessons, the struggles, the growth, and the mindset this journey built in me. Most importantly, I’m grateful for my girlfriend, who was beside me through every phase of it all. The strict meals, cardio, exhausted days, emotional ups and downs, and all the sacrifices behind the scenes. Having someone support you through a journey like this means more than words can explain. I also want to say I completed this prep without a bodybuilding coach. Everything came from learning through trial and error, research, consistency, patience, and refusing to quit when things got hard. This transformation became about much more than just losing weight or building muscle. It taught me discipline, self respect, patience, and gratitude. Still learning. Still growing. Well that was an experience. I met so many amazing people and so much hard work in a single place I'm not quite sure where to start but I'd like to thank a few people, first the show. @saskclassic thank you for providing the platform for people to put forth all that hardwork to get to stage. @studioc24hourfitness for giving me so much support and encouragement. And of course @bombshell.productions ! That team made what could have been a very strong stressful experience extremely fun and also supportive. I appreciate every one and look forward to what's to come next. I'm not sure if I'll do the Saskatoon show in September. Some thing is telling me to just eat and train hard and grow some, which will take time. And just set my eyes for a year from now. Lots of work to do. But for now. Let's eat!
