Today we proudly celebrate the achievements of our Mkhondvo Youth Club students, part of the wider boNtsanga Literacy Club, for winning the ESCCOM Short Film Competition. Their journey has been nothing short of inspiring, from joining the club, participating in the @eubushfireschoolsfestival & competing at the boNtsanga Experience, showcasing their trailer at the 2026 EU Bushfire Schools Festival launch, and ultimately claiming victory in the competition. Their passion, creativity, and resilience have been the driving forces behind this success. Two weeks ago, we proudly partnered with our sister organization, Gone Rural, to host a vibrant International Women’s Day celebration that brought together 80 artisans and staff members. The workshop provided practical tools to enhance both mental and physical well-being, while also creating a meaningful space for reflection, gratitude, and appreciation. Participants engaged in sessions on healthy eating, cultivating an attitude of gratitude, lymphatic drainage exercises, and breath work—each designed to promote holistic wellness. At boMake, we remain steadfast in our vision of Empowered women and resilient families in thriving communities. We extend heartfelt thanks to our international partner, @crossroadsinternational whose generous support made this initiative possible. #womensmonth #crossroadsinternational

🌱✨ Planting for the Future is officially underway! Last Thursday, we proudly partnered with the Eswatini Environment Fund and the Eswatini Environment Authority for the official ministerial handover of the “Planting for the Future Project” in the Hhukwini constituency, graced by the Honourable Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs. This youth-led initiative is centered on establishing community-based nurseries that promote environmental restoration, sustainable land management, and improved livelihoods. Already, two nurseries have been set up in LaMgabhi and Edlangeni, creating meaningful opportunities for young people to take an active role in environmental stewardship within their communities. Importantly, this project contributes directly to national priorities and has been recognized as a foundational step towards the ambitious 15 million tree planting campaign. It also reflects His Majesty’s call during the opening of Parliament to create opportunities for youth within their communities. Our Director of Operations highlighted the strength of collaboration, acknowledged the leadership of the Honourable Minister, and reaffirmed our commitment to scaling up the initiative to more communities across Eswatini. Together, we are planting seeds of change—for the environment, for livelihoods, and for the future. 🌍🌳 #environmentalsustainability #youthinaction #plantingforthefuture

🌱 Today we honor the incredible young people of Edlangeni, who have shown remarkable unity, dedication, and true ownership of their community project. Over the past two weeks, they successfully installed fencing and completed the construction of their nursery—an achievement that reflects their hard work and commitment. 🙌 Project ownership is the key to long‑term sustainability, and these youth have set a powerful example. We are excited to see what comes next as this inspiring initiative continues to grow! #youthinaction #plantingforthefuture
