As usual, I read the whole Bible every year. This year, I joined other Christians on a Bible reading plan (365 days) and it has been an eye opener. I understood the scriptures better because there was more alignment on old and new testament reading. There was no hurry to read chapters just for the sake of finishing the Bible. I had to discuss what I understood and what jumped out at me.
The Bible is encompassing and not boring, find various ways to read it if it is boring to you.
P.S. This song is nice and instructional ๐๐
And with that, 2025 comes to an end.
These are pictures and videos that were sitting pretty in my gallery.
I am extremely grateful for life, family, health, job, career, past, present, future, good, bad, ugly, fulfilled, unfulfilled, security, safety, provision, all, everything and nothing.
Praise yhr Lod for the Lord is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
Cheers to a better year ahead.
See you in 2026๐๐๐๐
Ibadan lo mo, O mo Layipo (You know Ibadan, but you don't know Layipo)
Now, I can confidently say that I know both Ibadan and Layipo.
During my trip to Ibadan, I visited Captain Bower's Tower. We had an employee speak to us about the historical monument.
Built in 1936 in honour of Captain Robert Lister Bower, the first British Resident of Ibadan, the tower has a panoramic view of the city of Ibadan. The spiral staircase inside the feature endeared the name "Lรกyรญpo". The tower has 47 steps and is 60 feet tall
Captain Bower camped on the mountain to enjoy fresh air, avoid mosquito, and security reasons.
Some important things the tower teaches:
1. One should always have an escape route (the entrance is different from the exit).
2. Security is important. You should have a vantage point to see many steps ahead of the enemy.
3. Always consider that your coast will expand in the future and plan accordingly.
4. On the way to the top, the road is not straightforward. However, don't be deterred but continue moving forward.
Visit Captain Bower's Tower when next you are in Ibadan.
10 years don Waka but we still dey carry go....
A decade later, weโre still soaring, still growing, and still making impact across industries and nations. 20 children cannot play for 20 years indeed.
I graduated at 19 and today I find myself reminiscing over school days, activities, Bashan food, Peppered rice and turkey, Cafe 1 & 2, Chelsea bread, punch drinks, lecturers, disciplinary committee, Tradefairs, dress codes, TMC (Total Man Concept), TTG (Towards a Total Graduate), departmental dinners, general dinner, convocation day, Thanksgiving service, souvenirs given to us, and many more.
So many old memories give way to new memories. Over the years, I am grateful to God for how far He has kept me. I am not where I would want to be, but I am not where I was before.
Cheers to another 20, 30, 40, 50, ... years.

And January 2025 comes to an end.
Hello February.
In January, I learnt that prayer is a necessity. Understood that God is my source.
Having a prayer life is important. Community is also important because they would encourage and support you.
Keep the line to God open always and in every medium possible.
Worship is all we need to do. Worship is in various forms - praying, singing, serving, etc.
Here is to a splendid February โจ๏ธ ๐ ๐
Before I posted this video, I kept postponing until I forgot. I would remember, postpone, and the cycle continued. FYI, this is a throwback to February.
I am finally posting this, and I hope to post better this year (fingers crossed).
It was a wonderful and amazing journey. I had a great time.
