I still remember the first day I walked into the Beauty Therapy Institute in Lagos, an ITEC-accredited academy known for world-class professional training. I wasn’t just nervous; I was unsure whether I truly belonged in the world of skincare and beauty.
But something changed the moment I stepped into the training room.
I saw skin under magnifying lamps, professional tools neatly arranged, international standards being taught, and something inside me whispered, “This is where you’re meant to be.”
During my training, I didn’t just learn about skin, I learned about people.
I learned how skin tells a story, stories of hormones, stress, lifestyle, confidence, and sometimes, silent battles people never talk about.
We treated real clients. I remember one woman battling severe skin texture issues. When she looked into the mirror after her treatment, she smiled, and tears rolled down her face. That day, I understood;
