Every rose has its thorns — Part 1 🥀
We were involved from the concept art stage, which gave us a deep understanding of the world before we started building it.
We had the honour of working on backgrounds for @valorant and @riotgames - Corruption in bloom, produced by @eddyanimation.tv and @eddygaming.tv Directed by @leabancelin and crafted to launch the new Blackthorn skin, this was a project close to our hearts. Our contribution: the background paintings that shaped the tone, depth, and atmosphere of each sequence
The goal: environments that feel alive, immersive, and true to the world of Corruption In Bloom.

Our contribution: the background paintings that shaped the tone, depth, and atmosphere of each sequence
Watch how we built the world, layer by layer, from concept art to fully rendered environments. Some shots needed more than a painting, so we brought the environments into 3D projection to match the animation seamlessly.

Spring is here, temperatures are rising, and 𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘺 🔥🎵
Shoutout to @electric_theatre_collective for bringing us on board for this @sprite project!
We had the pleasure of working on the 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧, helping re create a fictional festival, with its large-scale installations, its full scenes and logos featured across the entire set.
Our work involved 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠. We explored multiple compositions early in the process to 𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 for the commercial.

We collaborated directly with Joshua Vii, helping bring his vision to life through our visuals. Working with him meant finding ways to make CG feel grounded and cinematic at the same time.
To keep the 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞, we built our scenes in 3D. This allowed us to easily adjust composition, lighting, and balance while maintaining a lot of creative freedom.
A lot of 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 went into this project, and seeing how those explorations shaped the final film was incredibly rewarding.

In the “F50 Made Me Do It” commercial, Lamine Yamal gets so fast he literally burns the perfectly green football field.
Our job? Shape the visual appearance of those burned marks. After lots of tests, we landed on the result you see here 👀
