今度こそ引き抜かれまいと、ギギギと食いしばっています。
なので中にモノを入れるときはなるべく優しくしてあげてください😧
A man-faced black pine lid jar with roots that have taken such firm hold that they won’t budge from the lid.
It’s clenching its teeth with a “gigiigi” sound, determined not to get pulled out this time😬
So please be as gentle as possible when putting things inside it 🤏🏻

「No Savedate : モルボの伝説 復活の大古木」

膨大なデジタルデータが生成され続ける現代において、情報は蓄積と更新を繰り返しながら同時に忘れさられている。
本作は、数千年以上の耐久性を持つ陶という素材と、ゲームカセットという形式を用いることで、この状況に対する時間的・物質的対比を提示する。
「No Savedata」というタイトルのもと、記録されるはずだった時間の不在を通して、記録とは何か、そして経験はどのように残りうるのかを問い直す。
No Savedate : The Legend of Morbo The Resurrected Ancient Tree
In an age where vast amounts of digital data are continuously generated, information is both accumulated and simultaneously forgotten.
This work presents a contrast across time and material by combining ceramic—a medium capable of lasting thousands of years—with the form of a game cartridge.
A game cartridge is not merely a storage device; it is a system that inherently contains “save data,” inseparable from the actions of the player. What is accumulated within it is not just information, but choices, failures, and the passage of time itself.
In this work, however, the cartridge is fixed in ceramic, rendered incapable of being played, read, or written. It suggests an experience that can never be saved, or traces of gameplay that have already been lost.
Under the title No Savedata, the work reexamines what it means to record, and how experience might endure, by foregrounding the absence of time that should have been preserved.

「ブルキャン砂漠を越え、険しい荒野をしばらく進んでいると、
岩山の間から恐ろしく高い塔が見えた。
なぜこんな地に？ボロボロになった地図を広げる。
するとそこにはかろうじて読める文字で
Mt.Obesaと記載があった。
なるほど、この辺りに植物が一つも見当たらないのも無理はない。
私はひとまずオベサ山の麓を目指すことにした。」

"After crossing the Blue Candle Desert and traveling through the rugged wilderness for a while, I spotted a terrifyingly tall tower rising between the rocky mountains. Why would it be here? I unfolded my tattered map. There, in barely legible writing, was the name ‘Mt. Obesa.’
No wonder there wasn't a single plant in sight around here. I decided to head for the foot of Mt. Obesa for the time being."

This is a potted plant where I’ve incorporated various types of lignification.
Opinions on plant lignification tend to be divided.
Personally, as long as it doesn’t die, I find it thrilling😋
