✨ Boise, wait no more! Our 26/27 season is finally here, and it’s basically a love letter to everything that makes live music electric. We’re kicking things off with the sheer energy of Beethoven’s 7th, taking a deep dive into the cosmos with The Planets, and even teaming up with our Youth Orchestra for a massive performance of Elgar’s Enigma Variations. If you’ve been missing that high-energy, cinematic feel, you’ll be as hyped as we are that the Pops Series is officially back—think everything from a nostalgic trip through Middle-earth and Hyrule in our video game symphony to a full-throttle tribute to Led Zeppelin. Whether you’re looking for the timeless beauty of The Moldau or a family night out with Elf in Concert, this season is all about those “hairs standing up on your arms” moments. Want the best seats at the best price? Subscribing is now easier than ever with our brand-new mobile portal. Lock in your favorite spots for the whole year and get first dibs on exclusive add-ons like The Four Seasons and Messiah before they’re gone! 🔗 Tap the link in our bio to build your perfect season.

A season finale this grand deserves a soloist who is nothing short of a “phenomenon.” 🎹✨ We are thrilled to welcome Stewart Goodyear to the Morrison Center stage on May 16 & 17! Recognized as one of the most accomplished and visionary pianists of his generation, Stewart will be performing Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini—a piece that demands equal parts poetic grace and absolute technical wizardry. Whether he’s composing new works or breathing fresh life into the greats, Stewart’s energy is infectious. You won’t want to be anywhere else when he joins Conductor Eric Garcia and the full orchestra to close out our 2025-26 season! 🗓 May 16 & 17, 2026 📍 Morrison Center | Boise, ID 🎶 Program: Torke’s Javelin, Rachmaninoff, and Respighi’s Pines of Rome Witness the “keyboard gymnastics” for yourself—tickets are selling fast at the link in our bio! 🎟

🎶 Meet Ava Yang – soloist in this weekend's #BPYO performance! Ava Yang is a student in Boise, Idaho, and has been immersed in music from a very young age. She began studying violin at age three and piano at four, and in fifth grade discovered her passion for the cello. Since then, she has enjoyed exploring its rich sound while developing technical proficiency. Ava’s musical journey has been marked by enjoyment as well as achievement. She earned First Place in Cello Solo at the 2026 IMEA District 3 High School Solo & Ensemble Competition and has been named a top recipient of the Boise Tuesday Musicale Scholarship Award in both cello and piano. She also received First Place in Cello Solo at the TVMTA Bach Festival from 2023 to 2025. She has been selected to participate in several outstanding ensembles, including the 2026 IMEA All-State Honor Orchestra, the Sun Valley Summer Youth Orchestra, and the Boise All-City Honor Orchestra. These experiences have helped her grow as a collaborative musician and thoughtful ensemble player. Outside of music, Ava is also an enthusiastic fencer and is ranked No. 4 in the USA Fencing Northwest Regional Junior and Cadet Circuit(RJCC) in 2026. Ava studies cello with #BoisePhil Principal Cellist Philip Kettler and is thankful for the encouragement and guidance of her teachers and mentors, including Jen Drake, Jake Saunders, Irina Albig, Ana Robins, Kadon Madsen, Phylis Saunders, and Jennifer Sullivan, whose support has played an important role in her musical growth and artistic development. Don't miss her amazing performance with the #BPYO Symphonic Orchestra – this Saturday at 4pm at Borah High School. Tickets are just $15 at the link in our bio!

We think it's safe to say that the 25/26 Season has been our best one yet - from record-breaking audiences to legendary symphonic rock & roll moments with Shane (iykyk), Kevin McCallister's holiday shenanigans on the big screen to monumental performances featuring the #BPMC in their 50th Anniversary Season. Boise, we have loved every second of it – and we're glad you joined us! We're cooking up some big things for the 26/27 Season, and we're going to let you know more soon... but in the meantime, there are still 5 opportunities to experience our best season yet - including the finale of our acclaimed #ChamberSeries, the final concert of the #BPYO season, a FREE concert at the Meridian Library, and it all comes to a close with two back-to-back weekends at Morrison Center - with a little something for everyone.
