Seeing Beyond | World Sight Day 2025 👁️✨
Every year, World Sight Day reminds us how transformative access to eye care can be. This year, we partnered with @hellokaeme and Advocates for Community Partnerships (ACA) to host the Bôhten x Kaeme Eye Care & Wellness Outreach in Juaso, Ghana — a village known for its women-led tradition of crafting authentic black soap.
Together, we offered free eye screenings and skin wellness sessions, helping artisans see clearly and care deeply for themselves and their craft.
But our work doesn’t end here — we’ll return to Juaso soon to donate prescription glasses and a new line of affordable eyewear crafted from recycled ocean plastics and reclaimed walnut wood. A small step toward a more sustainable, accessible future in vision care.
