This nightstand is made of solid walnut and inspired by my favorite show, Avatar: The Last Airbender.
At the end of Book 1, the Fire Nation raids the Northern Water Tribe & slays the Moon Spirit, setting the world out of balance. This imbalance causes shifts in the universe, eliminating water bending and casting darkness throughout.
This piece with its cantilever design follows the push and pull of nature, showing the stability of the world & spirit realm when all is in equilibrium.
And the moon base looked sick so I was like, damn that kinda reminds me of the moon & Avatar.
