Tucked behind the tranquil Siolim bird sanctuary, our new home brings the bold spirit and flavours of Mizu Izakaya to Goa’s laid-back rhythm.
Sunlight spills through glass ceilings, shadows flicker across whitewashed walls. Every corner is designed to slow you down. To savour, linger, and exhale.
Begin with a refreshing wakame salad, dive into our indulgent tuna tartare or nigiris, sip on crafted cocktails by the stunning bar and end on a sweet note with our signature desserts.
Whatever your mood, there’s something here for it. Come in, and stay a while.
A space I didn’t just design—I lived in it, layer by layer.
From sketching its bones to choosing textures that breathe, @mizuizakaya.goa changed the way I relate to space—and taught me that proportions, shadows, and silence can hold emotion just as much as color or form.
Mizu means water—and it became the soul of this space. Every transition, from indoors to outdoors to somewhere quietly in-between, flows with that same ease. The movement feels like breath.
We chose monochrome not to mute the space, but to let its soul rise.
The old mango trees became sacred—they were anchors. We built around them, so they remain exactly as they’ve always been: rooted, generous, still. We preserved two beautiful Portuguese villas, let the paddy fields pour in through glass walls, and added just a whisper of Japan—sculptural, subtle, serene.
Design, to me, isn’t just about what you see. It’s about what slowly unfolds. What stays with you.
This one’s layered with memory, stillness, and a lot of heart.

8 Boheim Avenue, designed by Miheeka Daggubati @miheeka , merges minimalist Japanese design with nature and function.
Featuring Mizu, a Japanese fine-dining restaurant, and two boutiques, its black-and-white palette connects the space to lush surroundings.
The iconic infinity mirror bar and statement glowing sushi bar add elegance, while a seamless integration with Portuguese-style villas offer a sensory escape, blending the old with the new.
