🌀💥FRIDAY NIGHT💥🌀 is sold out thanks to BROWN SPIRITS! They’re heading in to takeover the bandroom for one EPIC and LARGE show celebrating their EP and before they head off for their UK/EU tour. From psyched‑out Krautrock to free‑jazz wig‑outs and funk‑flavoured downtempo jams, Brown Spirits smash every show as if it were their last. Based in Coburg, the band maintains a strict DIY recording ethic and has released several records worldwide, with their two most recent albums on the UK’s acclaimed Soul Jazz Records—making them the first Australian act ever signed to the label. We’re looking forward to having them in to perform and seeing the bandroom full of their crowd enjoying each moment. They’re joined by their equally talented guests BOGGLE and MOTE. This is a sold-out show so there will not be any tickets available at the door for purchase. Oztix has a waitlist option to join if a ticket were to become available - that is first come, first serve. #ausmusic #livemusicmelbourne #soldoutconcert #supportlocalmusic

Pete from @thezealotspicnic will be hosting a Live To Air Parlour Gig featuring: @boggletheband “Boggle is what Boggle does: Baritone saxophone, synth, guitar, drums, weirdness, wildness, wilderness, light and heavy, dark and steady, controlled chaos for the senses. With their debut LP out as of November ’25, Boggle has been taking stages by storm, and contorting chaos into the most danceable, moshable tunes you’ve heard yet. Twisting from stompy party synth hooks to dramatic noise rock belters, sometimes within the same song, their sound is a unique one. With Rosie playing synth and guitar at the same time, and pounding drums with beautiful flourish from Toby – underpinning Anna’s dramatic, energetic baritone saxophone playing, their stage show is not to be missed. It will subvert and exceed all expectations, and take you by surprise. Their on-stage presence is a joyous one, a release of energy that could only be directed by 3 friends doing the thing they love most together. Nothing gets Boggle going more than making a whole room of people dance. ” — Probably someone from Boggle Date: Saturday 2nd May Time: 4.30pm arrival for a 5pm show Place: 3MDR – Forest Park Homestead, Riley Rd Upwey Other stuff: There is strictly no smoking on the entire 3MDR grounds | BYO drinks & snacks This is a FREE gig, but there are strictly limited seats, so get here early or you might be standing at the back! The debut LP by this Melbourne trio, released late 2025, is something really special. Baritone saxophone, guitar, electronics and drums collide to make a unique brew of sounds caught somewhere between No Wave, post-punk and avant-jazz. You could compare them to Morphine or our very own Party Dozen, but that doesn’t paint the whole picture. Catchy, angular, experimental yet totally listenable, we think it’s one of the best local releases of the past 12 months.

🪩 SYDNEY ROAD ST PARTY LINEUP 🪩 It's the week of the big party over here in Brunswick! And we know you're ready to meet more of the bands on the lineup here at the mighty Bergy. A big drumroll for BOGGLE (@boggletheband ) and UGLIEBOY (@uglieboyband ) and their upcoming sets on our stage! 𝑩𝑶𝑮𝑮𝑳𝑬 Boggle is what Boggle does: Baritone saxophone, synth, guitar, drums, weirdness, wildness, wilderness, light and heavy, dark and steady, controlled chaos for the senses. With their debut LP out as of November ’25, Boggle has been taking stages by storm, and contorting chaos into the most danceable, moshable tunes you’ve heard yet. Nothing gets Boggle going more than making a whole room of people dance. 𝑼𝑮𝑳𝑰𝑬𝑩𝑶𝒀 UGLIEBOY is a Melbourne Based alt rock trio formed by Oakley Boyd [Synth, Vocals], Gabe Murdoch [Guitar, Bass, Vocals], and Ari Danaher-Flavell [Drums]. Emerging in 2024 out of their shared love of alternative rock, trip hop, and electronic, the trio blend their penchant for noisy riffs and industrial textures with emotionally raw pop, drawing inspiration from the likes of Blonde Redhead and Portishead. Their debut EP, LOSING CONTROL [2025], showcases the experience of finding yourself amongst the noise of modern Australian life, watching as everything slowly falls apart. Are you getting more and more eager for your Sydney Road Street Party at the Bergy? Stay tuned for more of the lineup to be shared and their set times very soon! #sydneyroadstreetparty #brunswickmusicfestival #livemusicmelbourne #melbournemusicscene #gigguide

What an incredible night! It may have seemed like an unexpected paring, and while both bands were wildly different genres, the positive energy from both, linked them beautifully 🥰 Huge thanks to local legends, The Dead Clampets who delivered an awesome set full of their trademark swampy sounds and cowpunk fun. It was so unreal to have them hit the Trash Cult floor again 💛 And.Then.There.Was.Boggle…bloody hell! Blending baritone sax, drums, synths, samples and guitars…it was an awesome cacophony of sound that blew everyone away 🤯 We’ve got a couple of copies of Boggle’s album in store if you missed out on the fun. @boggletheband @deadclampets #trashcultbarandbandroom #trashcultstore #trashcultrecordsbooksfilms
