✨ HELLO! ✨ thank you to all our new followers at SLOW BLINKS! we’ve sure been busy over here! Pecanitis is still up for adoption & doing great in our home! she’s exploring the space & letting her personality shine 🤩 more each day! we’ve successfully trapped 3 out of 4 of the GREY BOIS that recently showed up in our colony! first was Rufus! then Noomi! & just last week we were able to get sweet Elio. he sure made us work for it, as he preferred sleeping in the trap without setting it off 😂 but ultimately we SNATCHED HIM UP! 🩵 they’ve all been fixed & re-released back into our colony! & in other exciting news we were able to place a precious senior girl named Nugget who was surrendered to us in a wonderful foster home. it wasn’t long before this beautiful family decided she was a part of theirs! a successful adoption! 🫶 & our sweet, floppy colony cat, Mr. Mateo, was also placed with an amazing foster while up for adoption. thank you endlessly to these incredible humans who’ve opened their hearts & homes to these kitties. @phillystrings98 @michaelakonzal_ ❤️ SLOW BLINKS is growing! we are so excited to expand our reach & the work we can do for these cats. we are a foster based rescue; if you or anyone you know is interested in fostering for us, please don’t hesitate to reach out! we provide all supplies, you just provide the snuggles. thank you for following our journey, we are so happy you’re here with us. 🫶🫶🫶

@boganvia at @bisbeesocialclub a couple of weeks ago was absolutely phenomenal. I took some of my classic and strange abstract photography shots while watching the music unfold. These are my vertical captures! Choosing to do art as a person with Synesthesia means getting to express all different types of ways that I see color, and experience music. It’s one of my favorite parts of taking photos, dancing, making music, singing, painting, and moving through life… I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the show <3 -A

UPDATE! it’s been 24/7 CATS over here, but we’re doing great, we’re makin moves. we initially ran into some trouble with Pecan’s scheduled surgery; the clinic refused service on her once they met this spicy girl. i’m not sure if she scared them 😂 or they just didn’t feel comfortable removing a colony cat’s teeth. regardless of the reason, it was a minor setback! i felt frustrated & discouraged; this particular clinic had affordable pricing & would save me money! 😩 but my incredible friend & ally came to the rescue! she was able to hook us up W/one of her trusted vets THE VERY NEXT DAY, under the alias of ‘Sweet Potatoe’. & they gave me a great deal too. 🙏 we do what we gotta do! Pecan got every tooth removed & was biopsied on a suspicious growth. thrilled to announce it came back CANCER FREE; doc speculates it was just MAJOR inflammation from her stomatitis. the full mouth extraction didn’t phase her at all! we were able to cut lots of matted hair from her coat, hoping she’ll begin grooming herself again & her personality has really begun to shine through. she’s on a steroid & is continuing to rest up inside, purring when we greet her & even requesting pets! unbelievable stuff if you knew this kitty before. but the work hasn’t stopped there 🫠! 4 new boys showed up in our cat colony, all grey, all unfixed. we’ve dubbed them the GB’s (grey bois) & i knew we needed to start trapping asap! we got our 1st GB last night, Rufus! today he was neutered & tomorrow we will return him to the porch & start trying for the next one! Mr. Sock, Elio & Noomi (not pictured)…you’re on my list.. it may take a while, most of these boys come around sporadically, but i’m feeling confident & excited. as always, THANK YOU for your engagement & support. we pay for these cats out of our own pockets, so if you’d like to make a donation, my Venmo can be found in the bio. 🫶💜🐈‍⬛

The contrast of often squalid living conditions with the flawless presentation of personal brand was both inspiring and often contained elements of horror. HELLO ALL! 🫶 we hope you are feeling good & taking care. last week was a DOOZY of the best kind so we’re here with an exciting update! Stardust was adopted! this was unexpected & so so bittersweet. i was simply not ready! 😭 this girl fought so hard, for so long to survive & we couldn’t be happier with the wonderful couple that connected with her. she even has a new brother, who matches her chill & affinity for couch lounging! 😎 last week, we also released sweet Jacqueline back into our colony, tail-less & thriving. but worry not, she stays close, sleeping in her personal, heated house on our porch, where she (& the others) patiently wait for their hand delivered wet food, 👩‍🍳 which they receive multiple times a day. 🐈‍⬛ & finally last week, upon Jacqueline’s exit, we successfully trapped Pecanitas, our next victim! 👹 this spicy girl definitely needs some teeth out, if not all! we eagerly await her consultation. but for now, she’s doing incredibly well. what a way to begin 2026! & none of this could have happened without our wonderful foster @thejessinator1 . because she took Stardust in, we were able to give Jacqueline the amputation she desperately needed AND begin our journey with Pecanitas! thank you. 💜 we work out of our 2 bedroom townhouse so having fosters is life-changing; it helps us expand our reach & aid more kitties in need. 💛 if you or a friend is interested in fostering for us in the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out! we would LOVE to have you. and as always, thank you for your support. 🙏 more updates soon…
