This 7-minute scan shows you exactly what your body’s made of 👇 Muscle mass, fat mass, bone density - all broken down in detail. It's from a company called @bodyspec , and only costs $50. No insurance. No doctor visit. And Dexa Services like this usually cost hundreds of dollars. But here's the part that really stands out. They just launched an AI voice consult that explains your scan and gives you a personalized plan to train and eat based on your goals. Most people are tracking steps or tracking calories. But they still have no idea what's actually happening inside their body. BodySpec has done nearly a half a million scans - more than the U.S. government. Pro athletes, endurance athletes, weekend warriors - all use this service. They're in Texas, California, and Washington - and opening a new location in San Francisco - plus Chicago and San Diego on the horizon. This space is expanding fast. And it's not just a scan - It’s the foundation for smarter training and better health. #health #wellness #fitness #bodyscan #bodyspec #healthtracker #fitnesstracker

“Losing 10 pounds” used to sound like the goal. Now I care a lot more about *what* those 10 pounds actually are. My first DEXA scan in July 2025: • 145.8 lbs • 46.4 lbs fat mass • 94.1 lbs lean mass Second DEXA in February 2026: • 135.6 lbs • 41.1 lbs fat mass • 89.2 lbs lean mass Yes, the scale went down. Yes, I lost body fat. But I also lost nearly 5 pounds of lean mass — and that completely changed how I approach fat loss now. Because the truth is: A lower scale weight does not automatically mean a better body composition, better health, or the “toned” look most people are actually chasing. That’s why DEXA scans have become so important to me. They show me what the scale can’t: • how much fat I’m actually losing • whether I’m preserving muscle • if my strategy is working long term Now my fat-loss phases look very different: • slower, more intentional weight loss • higher protein • prioritizing strength training • walking more instead of endlessly trying to burn calories • focusing on maintaining muscle, not just shrinking my body I used to think success was seeing the smallest number possible on the scale. Now I know the real goal is improving body composition while building a body that feels strong, energized, and sustainable. The scale only tells part of the story. DEXA tells me the rest. #dexa #fatlossjourney #bodyrecomp #dexascan #bodyspec

This @bodyspec DEXA scan humbled me a little… but in a good way. #ad #bodyspec My home scale had me at 120 lbs and around 24% body fat. In my head, I honestly thought I was closer to 22%. My DEXA came back at 122 lbs and 27% body fat. DEXA scans are considered one of the most accurate ways to measure body composition. One thing that really stood out was seeing how much of my body fat is carried in my lower body compared to my upper body. Which honestly makes sense genetically and visually, but seeing the actual data in front of me was eye opening because it showed me how much of my lower body is genetics/fat vs actual built muscle- I think that’s important to share. And to be clear, I know these numbers are still considered healthy overall. This isn’t me spiraling over 27% body fat. But with how hard I’ve been training, how dialed in I’ve been, and how lean I thought I was getting… it wasn’t where I expected or wanted to be. But honestly? I’m glad I did it. Because instead of guessing, now I know exactly where I stand. And weirdly, it re lit a fire under me. Sometimes accurate data is more motivating than flattering data. Also: some of the white areas you see on the scan are from titanium implants in my arm that the scan reads similarly to bone, plus my breast implants in my chest area, so my bone density readings may not be perfectly accurate because of that.

The proof is in the test results! I’ve been putting in the work, and wanted to make sure what I was doing was working. The past few months I made some lifestyle changes - due to having partial knee replacement and dealing with perimenopause. I cut back on cardio, including running and HIIT and put my focus on strength training 5 days a week. It appears that my body is happy and responding positively to these changes. Muscle mass is good, bone density above average, low body fat percentage and all other measurements right where they need to be. Thankful for the @bodyspec technology so I could understand how I’m doing. Go to Bodyspec.com to book. They have stand alone locations as well as mobile units you can book. #bodyspec #partialkneereplacement #perimenopause #bodycomposition #fit50s

⚠️⚠️⚠️ RESULTS ARE IN ⚠️⚠️⚠️ Completed my first marathon of 2026 and all things considered, it was a great day at the office. My strength training focus shifted a little bit dialing in on exercises that optimize my running and emphasizing weak points as an opportunity to grow. The beauty of working with @bodyspec and getting a DEXA Scan is seeing where your hard work has paid off and where you can continue to grow. Any questions, please ask 🫶🏾🫶🏾 #runner #marathontraining #strengthtraining #running #explore
