I want to be transparent with you all because this year has been about honesty and growth. This photo is from January, and I stayed in that place until around March when I realized things had to change. My journey had its ups and downs, and I had to face the hard truth: I wasn’t practicing what I preached. Last year and this year was filled with so many changes some I wasn’t ready for. But once I committed to strengthening my relationship with God, getting my eating back on track, tapping into therapy, and challenging myself with Tabata workouts, things began to shift. Tabata has been transforming me, physically and mentally it’s tough, but the growth has been undeniable. God knows what to do in our lives, even when we don’t, and these challenges have been exactly what I needed to push forward. I had to ask myself if I was doing the work needed to get to where I wanted to go, and the answer was no. Sometimes, you have to take a step back, own it, and get everything aligned mind, body, and soul. It’s a journey. Even when I was working out hard, I wasn’t eating right, and that showed in my results. So, remember: no coach can do the work for you. You have to tap into yourself and push through. If you’re at a crossroads, keep going. Find your supportwhether it’s a church, a circle, or something else that brings you back to life and keeps you moving forward. I’ve built systems to stay on track, and while life may throw new challenges my way, I pray that these systems keep me focused. You can do it too. Over the weekend, I had the honor of teaching a Tabata class in Charlotte alongside my @dpac family at the PAC the Gant event. Every moment was incredible, and I’m beyond grateful for the energy and support from everyone who showed up! This year has been full of surprises, and each one reminds me how God continues to open my eyes and guide my steps. Thank you to every single person who’s been part of this journey with me.
