In the olden days, I was in a band called the schla la las
We stopped doing stuff just because.
Now we are gonna start again!
Here is a selection of stuff from the olden days and also a little bit from now.
We had stylish new matchy dresses designed by Seiko fujino And a record label no distance is gonna put some stuff out, et cetera et cetera.
We all got to be involved in designing our own dresses. I had been listening to lots of new wave and power pop. I think I thought I was clem Burke (I drum in this band)
that is why I have a little tie, et cetera
All the heritage rock memorabilia was hiding under my bed.
We used to wear matching stuff but the only matching thing I have left is the blue dress in one of these photos but sadly the hat is lost.

There was lots more info, but I typed all the stuff out once and added all the photos and then Instagram ate it and now my brain has melted in the summer and I cannot quite remember
More random stuff from under my bed - I also found some negatives - I used to take random photos which are mostly terrible and when they came back from the chemist I would usually throw away the negatives because I didn’t really understand what they were. Oops. And some of the photos are sent Lost or stuck together or whatever.
So the mighty Caesars did a frat shack and you got in Free if you were dressed as a lion so andrea using an old fake fur coat of mine made us both lion costumes. So we both got in Free. hooray. Pretty much everybody else was in a toga and by the end of the night quite a lot of people were not wearing anything. As well as wearing Andrea‘s super well crafted hot pants and top and bonnet to save time she had sewed me into them so I think I was the most dressed person there. I woke up still wearing my lion outfit. Sadly I don’t think I have any photos of me in this outfit. Maybe there are some in the frat shack archives somewhere…
Embroidered handbag = what we did under the desk before mobile phones…I used to really hate being in lessons with nothing else to do so I was always fidgeting or doodling and sometimes embroidering. I had an awful lot of badly handmade things and the longest scarf in the universe.
Please note backstage passes I have no recollection at all of playing, the underworld in mambo taxi with velocity girl but it seems we did.
Coming soon whats under the sofa
So I have been doing more excavating and tidying under my bed. At one point I wanted to get up and go to the toilet and I had boxed myself in with dolls and clothes and fripperies. I guess kind of luckily I am being forced to do this in a less lazy fashion than I usually would, normally I would say I think I will leave it for a week now and come back and do it later but someone is staying over tomorrow night and unless I sort this out a bit more they will be sleeping in the bath and I don’t think they will like that. I have sorted out a few boxes of things to sell but there is nothing you will want. There is nothing like any of the things in these pictures. It is just normal things that are boring. If you are very good, I will post some pictures of the poems I wrote when I was 11, the job contract I got from my first job, my membership cards for dice club, art rocker, bunnies, panic station and more useless bobbins
I have been hanging out under my bed looking in storage boxes. I was actually looking for something but I can’t remember what it was now but I have found lots and lots of things including the contract I got from my first job at our Price in 1980 something And the tour schedule for the 1993 mambo taxi tour and the book of poems I wrote when I was 11. Before the guy who keeps asking me ask me no I did not find the shampoo lyrics yet.
