Brands that connect, inspire and endure are built on more than just beautiful visuals. I partner with women-led businesses to craft meaningful, timeless brands that resonate deeply with their audience.
How I can help:
→ Brand Identities: From logos and submarks, to colour palettes and typography, we create cohesive visuals that tell your unique story.
→ Collateral Design: Signage, social graphics, marketing materials, apparel and more to ensure your brand is consistent and memorable.
→ Packaging Design: Product and shipping packaging that elevates your brand experience and inspires loyalty.
→ Website Experiences: Fully custom and responsive websites that convert interest into income.
I believe in doing good, making better, and creating together. Our collaborative process starts with strategy to fully understand your passion, purpose, and people—and then using your feedback to craft a brand you can feel confident in.

Hey, I’m Missy! It’s been a while since I’ve formally introduced myself, so here’s a snapshot of the girl behind the screen:
→ After graduation, I started my design career in agency and corporate roles. Though I dabbled in client projects outside of work, I officially launched Bockmaster Creative full-time during my maternity leave, looking for a more personal and impactful way to connect with business owners—specifically, female founders like me. Since then, I’ve collaborated with incredible women to launch and grow their businesses through cohesive brand and website design that truly reflects their passion, vision, and values.
→ As an solopreneur, I understand the challenges that come with wearing all the hats. Working on many sides of design over the last 8 years—from collaborating with a team of designers at a marketing firm, being the sole designer at a large tech corporation, teaching design to college students, to running my own studio—I’ve learned what it takes to craft brand experiences that connect, inspire, and endure. My mission is to help other female founders go from feeling directionless to finding the confidence and clarity to grow their businesses.
→ The name Bockmaster Creative came together pretty organically—Bockmaster is my last name! With only a handful of us in the world (just 9 last time I counted), it felt right to stick with the name that already sparks curiosity in everyone I meet. Plus, there’s no domain name or SEO competition 😉
→ When not behind the screen, you’ll find me dreaming up home renovation projects, diving into new creative ventures (currently: crochet), or exploring the newest indie restaurants and bakeries in town with my husband Adrian, our 5-year-old Ronan, and our Shih Tzu pup Cici.
Thanks for being here. Your interest and support in my passion mean the world to me! I hope you’ll stick around for a mix of branding tips, entrepreneurial advice, and a touch of motherhood humour. And a special shoutout to @lrstudiosbranding for capturing these amazing brand photos—her energy and talent are truly unmatched 🔥

Sticking to black and white in your brand palette because it feels safe might seem like the right move — you won’t get tired of it, it’s neutral enough to go with everything, it looks “professional.”
But colour is a powerful communicator. It sets the tone for how people feel when they encounter your brand. And when it’s created with intention, it becomes part of what makes you recognizable, memorable, and magnetic.
The Fresh by Selena palette is a perfect example: warm, grounded, and vibrant, with subtle nods to citrus tones and Selena’s Latin roots. It tells a story that’s bold yet approachable, joyful yet grounded. A perfect reflection of the creative, outside-the-box experience Selena brings to her work.
If your palette feels a little off (or is missing altogether), I’d love to help!
Brand Mark Breakdown for @freshbyselena 🍊
A brand mark isn’t just a symbol — it’s a piece of your story. Thoughtfully designed to reflect the heart of your business and what you stand for.
Sometimes the story is easy to spot. Other times, it’s quietly woven in. Either way, when it’s done right, it makes people feel something before they even read a word.
Today, I’m breaking down how the Fresh by Selena brand mark came together. A meaningful mark for a business built to uplift, inspire, and bring people together.
Meet the very first Brand Sprint! 🍊
This one set the bar high — Working with @freshbyselena was truly such a joy. What we created for her Brand Sprint is full of thoughtful messaging, deep symbolism and warm energy that feel just as fresh as Selena herself. From the subtly citrus brand mark to the confident, playful colours, every element tells a story.
More to come on the meaning behind it all, but for now, swipe through for a little peek into her new look →
It’s almost like this is the whole point: a personal post ↓
I didn’t start my business with extreme ambition. I just really wanted to create work I care about, with people I connect with, in a way that lets me keep building the life I always dreamed of.
But it’s so easy to get swept up in the pressure to do, learn, grow, earn... more. To compare your success to the rest of the world’s, and get lost in the pursuit of what’s next instead of appreciating how far you’ve come.
Lately, I’ve been trying to notice when those thoughts creep in. Focusing on working just as hard, but more intentionally. Learning to resist the world’s frantic pace, paying attention to where my energy goes, and making sure it aligns with what really matters to me.
Most of all, I’m practicing gratitude for the everyday moments this beautiful life has made possible: school drop-offs and pick-ups, morning movement, family adventures, and creative flow. I’m remembering to stop and smell the flowers, in every sense.
For me, this season has a different energy: softer, more present, but no less driven. Because when I pause long enough to really see it, I realize that *this* is the whole point.
So here’s a look peek at our life lately — A few unfiltered, unaesthetic, everyday moments from my camera roll that remind me why I chose this path in the first place.
Your brand isn’t just about looking good.
Branding is about communication — showing your ideal clients why they need *you*, without saying a word.
When your visuals are rooted in clarity, purpose, and the bigger vision you’re building toward, it becomes so much easier to connect. With the right people, with the right opportunities, and with the legacy you’re working so hard to build.
If you’re ready for a brand that finally feels *right* so you can show up up with consistency and confidence, let’s talk 🔗
Rebranding takes time, money, energy, and a whole lot of decisions.
And when it’s rushed (or built around what’s trendy instead of what’s true to your brand) it doesn’t always stick. That’s when you find yourself back in Canva, endlessly scrolling through templates and fonts… or facing the music and starting the rebrand alllll over again.
The truth is, your brand isn’t just for you. It’s how your audience perceives and connects with you. When your visuals and voice keep shifting, it creates confusion instead of confidence.
That’s why a rebrand should be deeply rooted in strategy, and built with intention. When you take the time to get it right the first time, your brand grows with you, instead of holding you back.

How do you decide what graphics to add to a brand? ↓
They have to mean something.
For @lrstudiosca , we spent a lot of time on brand strategy to uncover Lydia’s driving force, core values, and what makes her unique in the photography industry. We developed and built upon those threads to uncover the deeper meaning that represents her business:
Storytelling – Constellations ✨
Capturing fleeting moments – Shooting stars 💫
Celebrating life’s evolving seasons – Moon phases 🌙
By weaving in subtle celestial elements to support these themes, we created a brand with purpose that stands out while staying deeply personal to Lydia.
A brand with meaning builds connection—not just with your audience, but with you. When your brand reflects the heart of your business, it’s not influenced by what’s trendy. It means something to you and becomes the foundation of your legacy. 🤍
This project was a dream collaboration with my girl @walkersarah_ . Nothing fills my cup more than working with passionate women to bring beautiful design into the world.
