Meet our herd of llamas 🦙🚜 Our 5 female llamas live in a field at the very top of the farm overlooking the beautiful Surrey Hills! Their names are Beauty, Pip, Bambi, Flower and Tinkerbell . Did you know that a female llama is called a hembra and a male llama is a macho? Our 2 male llamas live next to Pig Wood and they are called Thumper and Dec. Ace making us laugh with his silly face!🤣 5. In the Kitchen Garden we’ve been using alpaca wool to help to keep the plants warm during the cold nights🌱 6. Our foals love nothing more than a snooze together in their stable. Look how comfy these three are!💤 7. Have you met Calamari, one of our Pygmy goats? He might be the smallest goat on the farm but he’s definitely got the biggest personality❤️ 8. Say cheese! Our alpacas in the Animal Discovery Barn are pregnant and due to have their baby crias soon. Meet the machinery involved too!🚜 Arrive from 12pm and enjoy a full afternoon at the farm. Your visit includes a Small Animal Encounter session, followed by an interactive tour and talk with our team. These sessions are ideal for children aged 4–8, but all ages are welcome! Hello weekend!🥳 We’re ready for another fun-filled spring weekend on the farm, with plenty to keep the whole family happy! Haircut time! 💇🏼🐑 Ben, Jerry, Noah & Flynn have all had their fleeces sheared. Don’t they look different! There’s nothing better than snacks, right Colin? 😋🐰 Our Continental Giant rabbits love their food and regularly enjoy tasty forage treats. Here, Colin is munching on some sticky weed — a fibre-rich snack that helps support healthy digestion. Rabbits also love dandelions and other weeds, which help give them a varied and enriching diet! 🌱 We often scatter snacks around their enclosure to encourage natural foraging behaviours and keep our bunnies busy exploring. 🐇✨ You can spot our giant rabbits in their enclosure by the Tractor Stop and the Animal Discovery Barn! ❤️ #rabbit #giantrabbit #surrey #animals #daysoutinsurrey

Have you spotted this beautiful tree at Bocketts Farm? 🌳 See how it changes through the seasons! This horse chestnut tree is over 100 years old and sits at the top of the hill along our tractor ride route. It’s been here long before the farm park opened — you can even spot it in the second photo taken almost 35 years ago! Did you know the average lifespan of a horse chestnut tree is between 150–300 years? These trees were first introduced to the UK from Turkey in the late 16th century. Most people recognise horse chestnut trees for their conkers, which fall in autumn. 🍂 The first recorded game of conkers dates back to the Isle of Wight in 1848!
