🎶 Joe Hisaishi at Tokyo Dome 2025 🎶
Had an amazing time mixing the Joe Hisaishi Ghibli concert this time at the the immense Tokyo Dome. Incredible performances from Joe Hisaishi himself, the London Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (incredible musician ship, positive and patient despite beeing thrown into the dome crazy acoustics), and soloist Mai Fujisawa, Ella Taylor and Marie Burou.
We also had The Philharmonic Chorus of Tokyo, Brooklyn Youth Choir and little Carol choir. Joining us mid show were a combination of 5 different military marching bands summing up to a good 230 microphones in total.
A special shout out to the entire Blackink team for taking super good care of me and doing an amazing production management and technical production of this show, and also to Adamson applications Engineer Henry Shi who flew over from Canada and helped setting up the incredible Adamson speaker rig for success!

Last weekend, we were in Paris for the world premiere of the Elden Ring Symphonic Adventure. IMEXsound provided immersive sound design and live amplification for this epic creation by Overlook Events and Bandai Namco. Almost 200 musicians on stage and almost 4,000 people in the audience at the sold-out Palais des Congrès. What a fun project, and we are truly grateful to be part of such a wonderful team Overlook brought together for this adventure. Thanks, @yavinovich and @romaindasnoy for your trust, and congratulations on the hugely successful premiere of your new show.
