Hell of a season with great company. Last day success after 8 days in the hills is quite the high, compared to the lows. (No target bulls were harmed in the making of this post)
2024 elk came to an end faster than expected. I was blessed enough to spend time in Gods country and to take this beauty of a bull on opening morning, that just so happened to have a broken leg from a previous, unknown injury. I’m so thankful for folks I get to call friends that made this possible, and for being able to put this old boys suffering to an end. Time to gear up for Mule deer! #elk
