MEET THE FILMMAKER: Andrew Schwab (@bobschwab ) is an Atlanta-based director and editor with over a decade of experience in both narrative and commercial filmmaking. Known for his curiosity and sharp storytelling instincts, Andrew gravitates toward unconventional story structures and timely, thought-provoking subjects. His recent short, Eating 38 Cheeseburgers, explores how consumer culture and AI are reshaping the internet, advertising, and art itself. Outside of filmmaking, he’s an avid hiker, amateur botanist, and photographer with a deep love for the natural world. His travels across the globe and collaborations with diverse creative teams have given him a wide lens on culture and storytelling. Whether on set or off the grid, Andrew is always chasing new perspectives and new stories to tell.

Accidentally checked seeing the aurora borealis off the bucket list a few months ago while camping in South Dakota. Didn't have a tripod with me so I took all these while holding my breath and standing as still as possible 😅
Last summer I collaborated with some very talented people to create Eating 38 Cheeseburgers, a short film I wrote and directed! It’s currently starting its run in the festival circuit, but will keep everyone posted on any local screenings.

Today is the last day to comment against the proposed titanium mine that threatens the Okefenokee Swamp, one of Georgia's most unique natural wonders.
