What's going on party people? With all the goofy shit going on in the world right now, I figured it was time to create a record with a little more meaning behind it as opposed to my usual display of word play just for the sake of saying "I can rap!". I wanted to be more intentional and have a genuine conversation with the audience about the state of affairs and how bat shit crazy our "normal" has become. While I wait for the nerds over at Landr to decide how quick they want to distribute my release (or not), I decided I should just give it to y'all first hand because the message is the only true motivation in this instance. "Wakarimasen", which is Japanese for "I don't know" or "I don't understand" is that conversation. If you were tagged, it's because whether as a creator or an ear for the art, you understand the need for a 3 dimensional world view when those leading the charge are south park characters at best! I wanted to start the year off right by hitting the ground running with a new record of mine and it may be a little bit different than what you'd expect. I originally wanted to go with some really rapiddy rap rap shit where I would see just how many parables i could put in a pot but I figured as we're getting back to a time where the voices of true artists and true stories matter, I'd go with something a bit more reflective! Hello, I am Bobby Jaggerjack if you don’t already know that, and I am what they call or used to call a “rapper”. I genuinely enjoy rap and its roots and really do feel a responsibility to not be trash at it, so I’m always looking to push the creative boundary, if such a thing even exists. That and I have adhd and autism so quite literally NOTHING else makes sense! I heard this @doechii record and couldn’t help but to take a crack at it.
