Why is there such intense non-malinated debate over whether a man with Tourettes should apologize after screaming out the word N***R when Black people (only Black people, multiple times) appeared onstage on an internationally televised show without considering the people it was directed at, whether the person saying it has a condition or not? Why do we never get consideration? Why did it even make it into the broadcast when it was delayed? I am so tired of people who are not now, or ever have been or will be affected by this kind of thing debating how Black people are supposed to feel, like we don't have agency. Just leave us alone. Seriously. I'm just tired. Happy Black History Month.
