We have been contemplating for a long time how we can reduce waste in leftovers from our catering events and mobile pop ups. Would you consider purchasing from post-events at 35% off? No toppings, no ice. We just hate dumping it, leading to food waste. Other ideas have been donating to an organization if batches are large enough, next day available with optional of low-cost add ons for cups, lids, and straws. We are working on offering 1/2 gallon bags for any leftovers to keep after your event as well! Right now, we have been offering sealed papers for your guests to take extra home. Would you purchase if we put ourselves on @toogoodtogo.usa ? You can request to have the service done in reusable cups! They also sell beautiful low-waste boba kits and stand alone cup/lid/straw combos.

NEW: WSW Products For Proceeds 💰 In a climate of reduced funding for women, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ business owners, we need to get creative to keep our community in business. What can we do to take care of us? In honor of Women’s History Month I’m excited to announce @alist_wsw is dedicating 2026 to partnering with others to find out 🙋🏽‍♀️ When I reached out to Malisa Tep @simply.malisa to be our first WSW Product For Proceeds, she immediately said yes. I’ll cover the whole sale cost of the @bbteajars lid if it doesn’t sell, but if they do, WSW gets a percentage of the proceeds. Plus, I’ll help with marketing and I need a new lid myself⚡️ What happened next was Malisa exploring more merch ideas as an added revenue stream for @bobagems vs. using her custom lids for private events only. AND these lids came out so cute 🥰 👉🏽The WSW fund is completely separate of ALIST. It has its own checking account to fund WSW projects. Any donation to the GoFundMe goes directly into the account 💞 ➡️These bamboo lids are being offered for a limited time for $10 and $3 of every sale will be donated to WSW. Let me share you my experience on a temporary space for two weeks. This isn't my first time being in the space. If I'm being honest, I was the guinea pig test trialing a retail cafe in 2024 at @crlportlandstate . I reintroduced myself as Boba Gems, on my soft launch rebrand while keeping BBTea Jars as merch. Goals for our retail/cafe space: - Give back to the community through @alist_wsw Women Supporting Women campaign - Test out bottled drinks to go for a circular economy initiative - Soft launch rebrand and showcasing catering rentals (mobile collapsible bar made by @gs.sweet.party ) and beverage dispensers for self serve boba bar - Promote eco conscious efforts with discounts when bringing reusable cup or purchasing @bbteajars We had major upgrade boosts that allowed us to bring in more traffic and I'm grateful to always continue returning back to @portlandstate as an alumni. See my latest experience I had being a beverage sponsor for @pnw_wed 's Sustainable Wedding Show at the @worldforestrycenter Follow @pnw_wed as we are featured in their PNW Magazine either Issues 16 & 17 (coming soon!) 🫣✨ I invested $400 to being a beverage sponsor at a wedding show. I'm used to pitching my product and doing direct sales, so this experience was so much different. By being a sponsor, if allowed me to have my logo on the events page, receive a feature shout-out on PNW Weddings, and two locations where I display my beverage dispensers to pitch my catering service. I handed out info pricing sheets and business cards (in hopes that couples will book me possibly months to a year from now so sales aren't immediate). This event took place last month, Sat February 22nd and I have a pleasure to meet and connect more with so many amazing vendors including, but not limited to @sipandsocialpdx @littlebananabakery @sprig.and.spread @storyboothexperience @marshandmallowco @soco_andco @sb_wedding_exchange And many more...
