Big send-off to Zahn, who’s been holding it down at Boardstore for almost 6 years.
This man has put countless groms on their first boards, slotted endless punters onto the best boards they’ve ever ridden, and done the whole thing in true Zahn style — zero stress, maximum efficiency and always extra tidy!
It’s been an unreal chapter, mate. Proper good times.

“Work trip.”
That’s what Sam and Zahn called the Bali strike mission after rolling into Keramas to find a fresh stack of @chilli_surfboards Blueprints already waiting for them.
The waves stayed fun-sized for the 4 days. Which meant lots of surfing, lots of “product testing”, and very little actual work.
A few Bintangs by the pool, a handful of highly scientific board discussions, and the verdict came back pretty quickly:
The Blueprint goes unreal.
Fast, responsive, easy to surf — the kind of board that keeps turning “last wave” into another hour in the water.
Turns out the best R&D program in surfing is still pretty simple:
Good waves. Good boards. Surf until dark.

Last week at the Margaret River Pro was a big one for us.
We stepped into the deep end—taking on the big leagues and running the official merch experience in true Boardstore style. No half-measures. Just full send.
From the first day to the final swell, it was something we’re genuinely proud of—an experience built for the event, the surfers, and the crew who make WA surf culture what it is.
Most importantly, to everyone who came down, grabbed merch, had a yarn, and backed us—thank you. And to those who’ve been supporting the shop for years, this one’s for you too. None of it happens without that foundation.
We set out to bring something a bit different to the Pro. Something that felt more like surfing here, not just watching it.
Mission passed.
