A gown fit for a queen… 👑❤️
This beauty came and asked me for a bespoke gown for her birthday. She didn’t have too many requirements so as we embarked on this design journey together, this was our ending. I will always involve my clients in the design journey of a BOADI bespoke piece and educate them as much as I can, to ensure they feel included and have a full understanding of my inspiration and way of working.

The method of producing Kente has existed in West Africa since the 11th century. It is a beautiful complex form of art, purely handmade. It is woven on a loom using organic cotton and silk, made in Ghana, native to the Akan tribe. It was originally worn only by Ghanaian royals, incredibly intricate and expensive.
