At nightfall, a carefully designed lighting strategy establishes a cohesive nocturnal landscape that enhances user well-being while supporting biodiversity. A subtle gradient in color temperature differentiates mineral surfaces from planted areas, progressively warming toward the park’s core to create a soft, welcoming atmosphere suited to nighttime use and respectful of the ecological context.

Last week, we traveled to Porto, Portugal, to test our “Permanent Rainbow” device. This light installation will soon be featured inside the ILMI Museum in Miskcity, Saudi Arabia, designed by the @why_site architect team.
For this project, we developed a prismatic, spaceship-shaped light fixture that will be suspended in the museum’s central void. When illuminated, it generates a rainbow that is projected both into the surrounding space and onto the cascading waterfall — a permanent spectrum of light connecting architecture, nature, and imagination.
