This is one of them.
Ordered by Oscar Liebmann â a native German, avid BMW fan, and the first official BMW motorcycle dealer in the USA. He travelled back to Germany with his wife specifically for the handover, taking place on April 21st, 1958 at the premises of motorcycle legend Georg Meier in Starnberg. Liebmann then drove the 507 to his hometown of Jena and through the Alps before shipping it to the States.
He kept it until his death in 1983. It remained in the family until 2001. One of the most original examples of the model still in existence.

This 1980 BMW M1 was originally delivered to Jochen Neerpasch, head of the BMW Motorsport, and features a unique factory specification of Grey over Brownâone of only four ever finished in this combination.
A previous winner at Villa dâEste as well, having received the Trofeo ASI for Best-Preserved Post-War Car at Concorso dâEleganza Villa dâEste in 2013.
