Heritage is more than where you come from.
It is what shapes your identity, your values, your memory, and your sense of belonging.
For some, it is language.
For others, it is family, tradition, spirituality, music, food, stories, or culture passed from one generation to another.
In a world that constantly changes, remembering who we are becomes even more important.
What does heritage mean to you?
Tell us in the comments.

Some people know where they live.
Few truly know where they come from.
Heritage is more than history.
It is identity.
It is memory.
It is foundation.
This October, we gather in Northern Ireland to reconnect with the origin of Yoruba civilisation, reflect on the legacy of Obatala, and honour the generations that came before us.
Because without sound understanding of who you are, your culture, your heritage… you belong nowhere.

Some journeys begin with travel.
Others begin with remembering who you are.
This October, we gather in Northern Ireland to reconnect with the source, Ile-Ife, the ancestral home of the Yoruba people, and to honour the legacy of Obatala, remembered for wisdom, purity, peace, and leadership.
This is more than an event.
It is a moment of reflection, identity, culture, and heritage.
A reminder that understanding where you come from gives meaning to where you are going.
Join descendants of Ife, lovers of African heritage, and members of the diaspora for a powerful day of learning, connection, and cultural pride.

🌍 WORLD Obatala Arts & Culture Conference U.K 2026 🌍
Family, friends, and fellow descendants of greatness —
In October 2026, another Black History Month calls us together in the UK. This year, right here in Northern Ireland, we're gathering to remember, celebrate, and reclaim our roots.
📍 Venue: Dunsilly Hotel, 20 Dunsilly Road, Antrim, Co Antrim BT41 2JH
📅 Date: Saturday, 24th October 2026
⏰ Time: 11:30am – 5:30pm
We'll be enlightening ourselves about Ife — the source, the origin of everyone known as Yoruba — and Obatala, Orishala, Alabalashe, Babarubo, the ruler whose legacy shaped leadership and structure that still stands today.
This isn't just an event. It's descendants of Ife partnering with biological descendants of Obatala to honour his contributions. It's a day to remind ourselves: without sound understanding of who you are, your culture, your heritage... you'll be seen as someone who belongs to nowhere.
Take pride in who you are. Connect with your historical origin. Reconnect with your heritage. Celebrate those who laid the foundation that generations build their lives on.
This is YOUR invitation. This is YOUR heritage calling.
For tickets and details: WhatsApp Arelu Tuashe on +44 7985 194089
Be there. Epa Orisha. Orisha Epa. 🙏🏾✨
