When I turned 60 we went to Borneo to see the animals ( orangutans & proboscis monkeys) and visited Sandakan - where the death marches remain the greatest single atrocity committed against Australians in war. Only 6 men survived.

Spritz It Up Sundays at OPA Bar + Mezze on the boardwalk at Eagle Street, sitting under vines of bougainvillea 🩷
A 9 course Greek banquet with bottomless spritz drinks (I could only handle one!) - and very generous servings of the most delicious food, on a lazy sunny Sunday afternoon.
Here’s what we had - incredible value.
* taramasalata with warm pitta bread
*zucchini fritters
*kalamari
*lamb shoulder
*lemon potatoes
*bug spaghetti
*horiatiki salad ( very cleansing)
*loukoumades (honey puffs) - by the time they arrived we didn’t think we could eat them all, but we did!!
We even added on a Saganaki dish because we love it.
We can’t wait to go back to this wonderful restaurant where the service, atmosphere, position and food are first class.
